“I grew up in Edinburgh, learning how to bake and decorate with my mum and grandma, since I was very small. I have many memories of creating a floury mess all over the work-top with my grandma while making scones.
After a brief period of studying and working as a photographer, I decided to make my way into the cake world. I’ve always had an extremely sweet tooth, so working with anything sugary, I felt right at home! I wonder if one day I will start to get tired of eating so much cake, but I’m definitely not there yet. I began by training in french patisserie at Le Cordon Bleu London and after graduation, I worked for many of London’s leading cake designers. I felt the time gathering so much experience from other companies has given me the confidence to put my own stamp on my cakes.
I love nature and flowers and try to make this a real focus in my designs. I really adore creating something that is such a special part of someone’s life. The best way to celebrate is with champagne and a delicious cake!”
